During the last Geneva Motor Show, Renault has released videos concerning technical innovations embedded in its car models.

This video is about the 3D Sound by Arkamys which is integrated in many vehicules of the brand, including the Mégane Coupé Cabriolet.

The Samsung SM5 is the new luxury sedan from the Korean manufacturer Renault Samsung Motors. Launched in Korea in January 2010, 40000 SM5 have been sold already which represents on average 700 cars per day. Designed in Seoul and manufactured in Busan, the SM5 is a great success in particular due to a level of equipment worthy of the higher segments. Thus, we find ionizer air, air conditioning tri-zone and the 3D Sound by Arkamys.

The SM5 is the second Renault Samsung model embedded with Arkamys 3D Sound (after the QM5 and the SM3). Arkamys 3D Sound contributes to the comfort of this new family sedan permitting to the driver and the passenger to optimize and personalize the sound environment.

Renault Koleos and Samsung QM5, two crossovers equipped with 3D Sound by Arkamys

Crossovers are the current trend in the automotive industry. These cars which combine features from several different types of vehicles (especially 4×4 and MPV) make use of advanced technologies. Partnership between Renault Samsung Motors and Arkamys

The new SM3 has been marketed in South Korea since July 2009.
The success of the project is due to an effective collaboration between the Renault, Samsung Motors and Arkamys teams in which Arkamys’ spatialisation technology was adapted for RSM vehicles.
The label «3D sound by Arkamys», visible on the car radios’ display, shows how much importance the car manufacturer attaches to the quality of listening experience in its cars.

Atelier Renault presents 3D Sound by Arkamys in Renault Fluence

The Atelier Renault, the famous showroom on the Champs Elysées in Paris invites his visitors to discover the audio system 3D Sound by Arkamys on the new Renault Fluence.
This sedan offers high end equipments and many technological features included the 3D Sound by arkamys. The new Fluence will go on sale in november 2009 in Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria and, from 2010 in the rest of Europe and mediterranean basin.

On the occasion of the new Renault Scenic launching, a serie of advertissements stage the famous video game characters Raving Rabbits. They test all the new features in the Renault Scenic, including the 3D Sound by Arkamys audio system. As you can see in the video, the Rabbits approve the 3D Sound by Arkamys !

Until 7th April 2009, Renault is inviting the public to visit its “Welcome aboard – On-board innovation and enjoyment” exhibition. The special event is being held at the Atelier Renault, on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Renault exhibits its latest models at the venue with a sneak preview of all the different technological innovations they offer.

3DSoundbyArkamys naturally occupies pride of place within the exhibition. A bell-based demonstration allows visitors to discover Arkamys sound as it can be heard in specially equipped vehicles.
The Renault Scenic, the latest model in the range to be fitted with 3DSoundbyArkamys, now also allows the listener the benefit of three-dimensional sound. As with the Megane and the Laguna, the digital sound processing is adapted specifically to the in-car configuration.
